Consistent long-term returns

Longreach Credit Investors was established in 2017 in partnership with Longreach Alternatives to provide Australian and international investors with access to high quality Australian private debt investment opportunities.

Australian businesses are increasingly underserviced by Australian banks, often unable to access appropriate debt capital financing, especially for growth.

As this dislocation persists, the opportunity arises for private debt managers to provide highly structured lending solutions to high quality borrowers and to provide fund investors with attractive risk-adjusted fixed income returns.

Disciplined Process

A strong focus on capital preservation and generation of regular income delivered through a disciplined credit approval and loan management processes.

Proven Experience

Longreach Credit Investors has a team with decades of experience in originating, structuring and managing business loan portfolios in the Australian market across economic cycles.

Clear Focus

Market leading position in lending into Australian middle market companies, a segment that can provide investors with attractive risk adjusted returns.

Our Capability

APIR: AMT1230AU
Objective

Target net return of 7.5% – 8.5% p.a. through the economic cycle – distributions paid to investors quarterly.

Strategy

The Longreach Direct Lending Fund provides market and/or event driven debt capital solutions to Australian businesses where reduced traditional banking options have created funding gaps for borrowers and investment opportunities for private investors.

The Longreach Direct Lending Fund (Class B) (‘Fund’) aims to generate quarterly cash income while seeking to provide potential for capital gains through loan structures that can also include other assets such as warrants, options, preference shares and equity.

Returns will consist of income generated from:

  • interest rates charged to selected borrowers; and
  • realised capital growth from opportunistically accessing equity-like positions in selected borrower companies.
